Start-up
Ensure that you have a Bosch Smart Home control- ler and the Bosch Smart Home app and have suc- cessfully configured both. Now start the Bosch Smart Home app and select “Add new device”. Follow the instructions in the app.
Resetting to factory settings
You can reset the device to its factory settings as follows:
Open the battery compartment (8) and remove one of the batteries. Replace the battery while holding the rotary knob (4) pressed. Hold the knob pressed until the status LED (3) on the room thermostat flashes orange and “RES” appears on the display. Now release it briefly and press the knob again and hold until the LED lights green. The device then restarts. Please note that it can take a few seconds until the room thermostat is ready for operation again.
When resetting to factory settings, the settings and information are only lost from the device and not from the Bosch Smart Home controller. To re-configure the device, first delete it in the device management section of the Bosch Smart Home app and then add it again in the usual configuring process.
