SELECTING THERMOSTAT LOCATION
The correct location of the room thermostat is very important to ensure that a comfortable temperature in the home can be maintained. When choosing a site, follow these general rules:
- Find it about 5 feet off the ground with free airflow.
- Install on the partition, not on the outer wall.
- Never expose it to direct light or radiation from lamps, sun, chimneys, etc.
- Avoid locations near external doors, windows, or adjacent external walls.
- Avoid locations near radiators, hot air registers, or in direct heat paths from them.
- Make sure there are no pipes or ducts in the part of the wall selected for the location of the thermostat.
- Never place it in a room that is warmer or cooler than the rest of the house, such as the bedroom. in the kitchen or hallway, or across a wall in a cold or unused room.
- The living or dining area is usually well placed, as long as there is no stove or refrigerator opposite the wall.

- Remove the cover from the thermostat by pulling it out. Insert the thermostat wires through the small holes into the terminal screws on the thermostat base and connect the wires to the correct terminal screws according to the wiring diagram. Note that on some models, the cable core can be connected to the terminal screw on the back of the base.
- The thermostat can be mounted on a standard horizontal outlet box or directly on the wall. Place the spirit level on the base of the thermostat and mark the position of the fixing screws. Push the excess cable into the wall or electrical box and plug the holes to prevent electricity from affecting the operation of the thermostat. Then loosely attach the bottom of the thermostat to the wall using the two screws provided.
- Place the spirit level back in the base of the thermostat to make sure it is level. Then tighten the mounting screws and click the thermostat cover.
Lux CH200SA CH400SA HEATING ANTICIPATOR
The heating side of this thermostat is equipped with a heating control. Set the heater gauge to match the current set point of the main controller. The heater can be set for a rated current from 0.2 to 1.2 amps. Additional adjustments can be made if required as follows:
BURNER CYCLES TOO LONG - Set adjustable heater to a slightly lower dial setting (1/2 division).
BURNER CYCLES TOO SHORT - Set adjustable heater to a slightly higher dial setting (1/2 division).
